Publications
TrustBridge co-founder Akshay Jaitly, and Ajay Shah wrote an article published in the Business Standard on 29 October, titled "Solving intermittency of renewables". Akshay and Ajay argue that energy storage and generation are different businesses, each with their attendant expertise requirements and risk factors. It is time that the regulated rate of return paradigm that governed the electricity industry is changed, and private investment and risk taking in electricity storage is encouraged, so that prices can do their job. Read the article here.
At heart is the role of prices. The insight that India needs to deploy in the area of electricity is the idea that prices fluctuate to clear the gap between supply and demand.
Akshay and Ajay also recorded an episode of Tune In, in which they talk about ‘The rise of the Indian Firm’.
Renuka Sane wrote an article for The Print, `Govts invoking crisis clause in Electricity Act hurts private players. Start storing instead. Read it here.
Anjali Sharma and Karan Gulati wrote an article for the Leap Blog, `Improving judgment enforcement: Let judgment creditors file insolvency resolution applications’. Read it here.

Renuka Sane wrote another article for The Print, `Pay attention to states’ treasury. If it gets worse salaries and pensions will be affected’. Read it here.
